TUT Pretoria women’s team defeated CIDA College 16-0 in their USSA league fixture at the Tshwane University of Technology’s FNB Stadium on Tuesday 24 April.

TUT showed their determination in the opening minute by testing CIDA goalkeeper Palesa Mokhena, who made a crucial save to deny TUT their opening goal. The score sheet opened in the 12th minute when Letang “Lee” Madiba netted a corner kick that was delivered by Banyana Banyana player Marry Ntsweng. CIDA`s defence was caught off guard by an early shot which met Lebo “Shuffle” Rakhuduwe who capitalized and scored the third goal in the 15th minuet three minutes after the second goal. By the time the whistle was blown for half-time, CIDA had very little opportunities to score. TUT had already found the back of the net 9 times. In the second half, the pace of the first half and continued to score more goals. TUT added 7 rounding up their total goals to 16.


TUT are now at the top of the log and they will take on VUT Vanderbjilpark in an away fixture next week Tuesday
